Join the Governments of Brazil, Sierra Leone, and Germany in collaboration with European Investment Bank (EIB) and with support from FAO, IFAD and WFP for this side event to be held on the margins of the Fourth Preparatory Committee (4th PrepCom) Session for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4): "Fueling Food Security: Access to Finance for a Resilient Future¡±.
This side event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss and showcase scalable solutions for financial inclusion, focusing on how development finance institutions, the UN, and governments can strengthen cooperation to enhance access to finance for vulnerable communities towards sustainable agricultural development, national food security and nutrition. The discussion will also highlight lessons learned from ongoing initiatives, South-South experiences and explore pathways for future investments in food security.
This panel will explore the intersection of food security, financial inclusion, and rural entrepreneurship¡ªdiscussing how improved access to capital for smallholder farmers and informal agri-entrepreneurs can drive the shift towards, inclusive sustainable food systems.
