Small Island Developing States Global Business Network
Global advocacy for the sustainable development of small island developing states through durable private sector partnerships
The Small Island Developing States Global Business Network (SIDS-GBN) by UN-OHRLLS harnesses private sector innovation to drive sustainable development in small island developing States (SIDS).
The network actively engages the private sector and facilitates public-private partnerships which support the Antigua & Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS).
Additionally, the SIDS-GBN promotes the sharing of best practices for sustainable and inclusive private sector development in SIDS, aligning with both the ABAS and the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Share Your Thoughts!
We invite you to share your insights through a short survey on the Strengthening of the SIDS Partnership Framework and SIDS Global Business Network.
As requested in Paragraph 37 of the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS), the United Nations Secretary-General, in consultation with States and the Steering Committee on Partnerships for Small Island Developing States, will present recommendations for strengthening the SIDS Partnership Framework. To support this effort, this survey aims to gather various actors¡¯ perspectives on how the and the SIDS Global Business Network can be enhanced to effectively support ABAS implementation.
Your perspectives will play a vital role in shaping these recommendations, which will be presented for endorsement at an Ambassadorial-level Steering Committee meeting in May 2025.
We greatly appreciate your time and valuable input. The survey is open until 15 April 2025.
