Chair of the Committee on Conferences
Mr. Hussein Roshdy, First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Egypt to the United Nations, is a diplomat with over ten years of experience in government service, foreign relations, and international diplomacy, bilaterally and within the UN system. Expert in facilitating high-level engagements, managing complex multilateral and bilateral meetings, providing advice and policy recommendations for high-level officials across a diverse range of issues, including development, climate change and budget oversight as a Fifth Committee delegate. His career includes pivotal roles in Geneva, Nairobi, and Cairo, with expertise spanning climate diplomacy, UN reforms, and international development. Fluent in Arabic and English, Mr. Roshdy holds a medical degree from Alexandria University and a diploma in Diplomatic Studies from the Egyptian Institute for Diplomatic Studies. |
